How to play Arrow Sudoku

Arrow Sudoku gives you a focused activity to play in your browser. Solve the Sudoku and make the digits on each arrow path sum to the digit in its circle. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Keep the instructions close while learning this activity. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

Step by step

1. Select an editable cell.
2. Enter a value using the keypad or keyboard; Notes stores candidates.
3. Read the region, cage, arrow or outside clues alongside the normal constraints.
4. Check entries verifies the completed board; Undo reverses your last input.
5. New puzzle selects another included puzzle.

A useful example

A circle 7 may have an arrow containing 3 and 4 when the normal Sudoku rules also allow it. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Check the stated objective.
